Cancilla Vineyard lies in the northern end of the Willamette Valley in the foothills of the Coast Range. This vineyard is a relatively cooler site allowing for full development of flavors while keeping alcohol moderate and preserving acidity. Fermented with approximately 50% indigenous yeast, aged for 15 months in French oak with 30% new oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. The 2011 shows dusty earth, bright red cherry and dried mushroom. 146 cases produced.
